The vision and ultimate goal of the project:

Innovate and personalise treatment of colorectal diseases

Make the treatment of diseases such as familial adenomatous polyposis or ulcerative colitis less invasive through regenerative medicine

Crafting natural advanced biomaterials to replace the diseased ones thanks to the application of tissue engineering

Develop new biotechnological tools and apply the research’s results to other diseases’ treatments
